With sublimation umbrella printing, a heat press is used to infuse sublimation inks into fabric. This process results in long lasting, vibrant colours because the ink has penetrated the fabric. This method is great for reproducing patterned designs and full colour, all over canopy prints.

Umbrella screen printing is a traditional technique that is commonly used as it is inexpensive and fast. We tend to use screen printing for basic logo printed umbrellas with little or no gradients or shading. This technique results in a clear, vibrant prints.

There are a couple different ways to print a photo on an umbrella - and the best method really depends on the size of the print run. For larger runs (over 500) we use sublimation printing. For smaller runs, digital printing is used. Both methods result in high quality prints.

New digital transfer printing methods have made it possible to print in full colour all over the entire umbrella canopy - on small print runs. This method is also fantastic for intricate designs, particularly those with gradients or tints.

Printing on the inside of the umbrella is a lovely way to add another dimension to your custom umbrella design. Try adding some subtle branding or messaging. Or, you can also brighten up a rainy day with a colourful design.
