What do I need to know before I get in touch with you about my promotional umbrella?
How can I approve the finished promotional umbrella?
Once an order is placed, we can produce a one-off sealed-sample for final approval. This will give you the opportunity to approve colour and design prior to production. If the canopy or frame is being pantone matched, we will supply swatches for approval to ensure the colours are acceptable to you.
Can you match my corporate colours for the promotional umbrella?
Yes. Our canopy material is available in a wide range of colours, so we are confident we can match the promotional umbrellas to your corporate image.
Do I have a choice of canopy colours for my promotional umbrella?
Yes. Our canopy material is available in a wide range of about thirty stock colours and we can usually get pretty close to matching generic colours. If you have unusual colours or require the match to be closer than our available stock – we can pantone match to specific colours on demand. If you order quantity is at least 300 units, we will do it for FREE.
Do I have a choice of frame colours for my promotional umbrella?
Yes. The iBrolly golf range is available in black. If your order quantity is 500 units or above – we can pantone match the frame FREE of charge – so you can have your preferred colour.
What are your terms of business for printing and producing my promotional umbrella?
If you’re a new client – we normally accept a 50% deposit to secure an order. For more established regular clients – we will set up a trading account offering 30 days credit.
Can you provide a design service for my promotional umbrella?
Yes we can. If you tell us what you are looking for, we can produce a number of canopy design options for you to choose from. It’s a free service if you order the umbrellas.
Why do you need artwork from me for the umbrella?
If you want us to reproduce your logo onto your promotional umbrellas, we need to have an electronic version to work from in a good resolution – say 300dpi. Your company will probably already have your logo in the version we need – either from your stationery printers or from the designer who created it. You can email this file to us, or if too large to email upload it via our ftp link.
How much can I customise my promotional umbrellas?
As much or as little as you like. You can choose the canopy colours, the words or images to be printed on the canopy, the handle shape and material, the tie wrap colour and fastening and include a sleeve. In addition, on most umbrella styles – we can incorporate your logo or message within a small disk in the base of the handle, so your brand is visible even when your umbrella is folded.
How long will it take to receive my promotional umbrellas?
We can give you the best prices if we have your order eight weeks or more before you need the umbrellas. If your project is on a short lead time, however, we can print and dispatch your promotional umbrellas in much less time. Are your umbrellas guaranteed?
Yes. We so confident about the strength, quality and durability of our range of iBrolly promotional umbrellas – they are supplied with a full no quibble performance guarantee.
Do you supply promotional umbrella postal tubes and packaging?
Yes. We have a nice range of quality postal tubes that can be ordered at the same time as your umbrellas. We will even pack the umbrellas individual in each tube for free. For something special, why not have the tubes gloss printed in your company colours to match the umbrella and include your logo and sales message?
What is the minimum order quantity?
For our own range of umbrellas its 100 units. We can however offer UK printed umbrellas of similar quality – but the price will not be quite as preferential as printing in the UK is much more expensive that if done at our own facility in Hong Kong.
What is the standard lead time?
Generally, it takes us three to four weeks to manufacture and print our umbrellas – we then import by sea which takes us up to five weeks including port access and Customs clearance.
Can you design the umbrella canopy for us?
We offer a free canopy design service – all we need is your logo in any format.
How can I be sure I'll be happy with the printing?
For all orders of 100 units and more – we will produce a fully completed sample for final approval – it’s a free service and will ensure you are totally happy with the end result.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes – we have a good stock of samples here and are happy to send you one for approval provided you can send it back – as we do send out a lot of samples.
What canopy colours can you offer?
We have about ninety colours in stock – the stock varies in exact colours we can offer so it’s best to advise what pantone colour you need us to match to and we can assess our current stock availability.
Can you exactly match our Pantone brand colours?
Yes – if we don’t hold your colour in stock – we can dye the material at source in Taiwan. On orders of 500 units and more – we can pantone match for free.
Can you offer coloured frames?
Yes – if your order is 500 units or more – we can manufacture the frames to order and can offer them fully pantone matched to your colour – including – Handle, shaft, tip, rib end caps and opening button.
How bespoke can I make my umbrella?
Yes – there are many additional branding options we can offer other than just canopy printing – these include; Contrasted perimeter tape Decal in handle – subject to umbrella type Woven labels on the inner and outer part of the canopy Printed tie wraps Printed sleeves Embossed popper on tie wrap
Can you print images with tints and shading?
Yes – we have a number of print methods that we use including Heat Transfer Printing and Offset Printing – the size and complexity of your design will determine the best solution.
Is there a tolerance when printing or dying materials?
We will be able to replicate the colours in your logo to a very high standard – there will always be a very small colour tolerance especially when dying canopy material and frames. We will always send you a colour swatch for final approval to ensure you are happy with the result.
Can you supply branded mailing tubes for the umbrellas?
Yes – we offer a number of solutions and the umbrellas can be packed at source to save time and money – and if the order is for 500 tubes or more – they can be printed with your full colour logo and custom made to any design – there is a cost to this which is quoted upon request.
